Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help leading exciting and complex projects. This person can sit in our Austin, TX or Boston, MA ofices or other Page locations in the US.

• Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls
• Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings and prepare green rating system documentation
• Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems
• Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design / bid / build, design assist, design build
• Process contractor submittals, RFIs
• Perform on site condition surveys
• Produce quality work
• Provide mentoring and direction to junior members of the project team or engineering discipline
• Use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design
• Consistently strive to improve technical quality of work product by keeping abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry
• Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and insure integrated design approaches & solutions
• Assist in the procurement of high-quality work; including marketing / proposal efforts and project interviews
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education and Science & Technology
• Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business
• Perform and maintain thorough QA / QC on all phases of projects
• Participates in recruiting efforts across the firm
