Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Supervisor (RN)

Hours / Shift : Rotating Shift, Part Time

Required : Acute Care - Previous experience, Nursing - 2 years, Nursing Leadership - 1 year

The Patient Care Supervisor is the liaison for administration who responds to all inpatient and outpatient emergencies. Works as patient advocate to address patient and family concerns. Resource leader for all members of the team. During nights, weekends, and holidays - the Patient Care Supervisor is the highest-ranking member of administration in the building, coordinating operations. They work in an overview position - not attached to any single unit within the hospital but involved in ALL of them.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
