Job descriptionMUST HAVE OBGYN EXPERIENCE Ideal candidates should be outgoing and friendly to greet and assist our patient population. Individuals who are motivated to provide quality patient care and have the ability to exercise independent judgment are encouraged to apply. Please submit your resume and cover letter to Clinical Supervisor. Our current position requires medical / clinical office experience working directly with providers. We encourage applicants with proven "back" medical office experience to apply. Must have a track record of longevity rather than multiple short-term moves.
Our large medical office in Virginia Beach is seeking a Medical Assistant TEAM LEAD WITH AT LEAST 1 YEAR of OB / GYN , Primary Care, or Family Practice and successful supervisory experience. Applicant must be certified Medical Assistants.
Duties Include :
- Working directly with patients during exams and procedures, patient triage, prescription refills, phlebotomy, and giving injections.
- Our office has an EMR for all patient documentation; computer experience is helpful but we will train qualified applicants.
- Capable of providing in-the-moment coaching and serving as backup to Clinical Supervisor.
