Administrative Services Assistant Senior

The Administrative Services Assistant Senior provides high-level administrative and financial support for the Research Administrative & Fiscal Affairs office (RAFA) and the Office of the Vice President for Research Internal Research Support Programs. This position plays a key role in processing and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining accurate reporting and documentation, and supporting the overall administration of internal research funding programs. The ideal candidate provides detailed attention to accuracy in financial transactions, strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, and possesses the ability to interpret and apply university financial policies accurately.

The Administrative Services Assistant Senior will understand the structure and operation of university cost centers and have the knowledge to manage the movement of funds between UKRF and university cost centers. This position will be responsible for the monthly reconciliation of cost centers and will identify & correct transaction errors promptly. The ideal candidate will have basic financial and accounting knowledge and the ability to track funding against approved budgets to prevent overspending.
