Job description

Description

Program Support

Provide support to individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities during programs.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Working with individuals to facilitate engagement during programs
  • Implementing group activities
  • Supervise program transportation of individuals to / from program in the morning and afternoon
  • Communicate with supervisor as well as parents & community liaison
  • Foster positive relationships between individuals served and community
  • Ensures safety of participants during programs
  • Encourages independence

Job Requirements :

  • A desire to work with adults with disabilities
  • Ability to provide positive motivation to others
  • Must be caring, dedicated, responsible, and patient
  • Willingness to take public transportation
  • Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including walking for periods of time
  • HS diploma, GED, or equivalent

    • Salary : $18-25 / hour for approximately 9 hours a week
