We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level QA Tester to join our team for a large Telecommunications client. This role focuses on manual testing with an emphasis on Wi-Fi and network functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in quality assurance processes and a willingness to learn defect analysis and management.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and network-based applications.
Validate Wi-Fi connectivity, network performance, and related configurations.
Document and report defects clearly using standard tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
Participate in test planning, including identifying edge cases and network scenarios.
Assist in defect analysis and contribute to root cause discussions.
Maintain accurate test documentation and follow QA best practices.
This is a Level I role. Enterprise experience is not required, but personal projects, schooling or QA foundation is needed. This is onsite 4 days a week in Englewood, CO offering 30-35 / hr. This is a contract with projected extensions up to 18-24 months.

Required Skills & Experience
Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP) and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
Familiarity with manual testing methodologies and test case design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
6+ Month experience with QA.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus.
Knowledge of defect management processes is a bonus.
