About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Product Development to join our dynamic start-up, which is backed by private equity and venture capital. As our first technical product hire, you will spearhead the complete product lifecycle across diverse philanthropic initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to drive product vision, implementation, and growth, emphasizing 0-1 product development in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in consumer products, SEO, audience development, and user engagement, coupled with practical experience in AI / ML concepts. A technical proficiency in SQL, A / B testing, and data analytics is essential. You will be expected to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, particularly in high-visibility engagements with C-level executives or founders.

To qualify, applicants should possess at least 10 years of professional experience in product management, showcasing a strong history of successfully driving product vision and growth. A Master's degree, MBA, or an advanced degree in a STEM or related field is preferred. A genuine passion for technology and remaining informed about industry advancements is crucial.

The ideal candidate will have successfully navigated products from ideation through to MVP and achieving product-market fit, with specific experience in data-focused products such as visualizations and dashboards. Additionally, experience in AI / ML products and a strong commitment to philanthropy or social impact initiatives is required for this role.
