Position summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue and business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships within the technology sector. This role will require a deep understanding of the software consulting landscape to effectively sell and deliver complex, custom technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Prospect for and acquire new clients by researching target markets, identifying potential clients and partners, and conducting market analysis.
Implement outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to generate and qualify sales opportunities.
Create and implement effective business development strategies and tactics to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal delivery and contract negotiation, to close deals.
Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to develop and deliver customized software solutions that meet client needs.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, pitches, and product demonstrations to prospective clients and C-level executives.
Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track pipeline activity, manage customer interactions, and report on business development performance.
