Account Manager (Recruitment / Sales) at SVAM International Inc

Position summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue and business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships within the technology sector. This role will require a deep understanding of the software consulting landscape to effectively sell and deliver complex, custom technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business

Prospect for and acquire new clients by researching target markets, identifying potential clients and partners, and conducting market analysis.

  • Generate qualified leads
  • Implement outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to generate and qualify sales opportunities.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Create and implement effective business development strategies and tactics to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Build and maintain relationships
  • Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Manage the sales process
  • Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal delivery and contract negotiation, to close deals.

  • Collaborate internally
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to develop and deliver customized software solutions that meet client needs.

  • Monitor market trends
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities.

  • Conduct presentations
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, pitches, and product demonstrations to prospective clients and C-level executives.

  • Track performance
  • Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track pipeline activity, manage customer interactions, and report on business development performance.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a business development, sales, or similar role, preferably within the software, IT, or technology consulting industry.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and relevant technologies (e.g., cloud, APIs).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
