Title : Residential Territory Sales Manager
Location : Kalamazoo or Grand Rapids, MI
Pay Range : $65K-$75K Base + Commission / Bonus
Our client is a leading distributor of wholesale residential and commercial building materials with rapid growth over the last 5 or so years.
This is a very lucrative territory for the company and there is a need for a fully dedicated presence in the area to call on their dealer network.

Position Summary
- Build and maintain new and existing client relationships in assigned territory to ensure market stability and growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory by utilizing a variety of sales strategies.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers to showcase product features and benefits.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate sales teams to maximize and grow revenue and profits.
- Continuously improve product knowledge by engaging with internal and external experts.
- This is a very strong territory for the company with substantial established and potential business and the opportunity for upward mobility within the organization by performing here.
- Reports to Regional Manager.
Skills / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales of building materials.
- 2+ years outside B2B sales experience with proven track record of sales success.
- 1+ year customer-facing, outside B2B sales experience preferably in the building materials space.
- Knowledge of the Western Michigan market
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work autonomously and in a team environment with excellent follow-up skills.
- Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written.
- High level of integrity and commitment to doing what is right and fair for all involved.
