Job Type : Full-time or Part-time and Seasonal hires welcomed.
Hours : 20–30 hours per week, probably more for the Holiday Season!
Pay : From $16.50 / hour + tips in a high-volume environment.

Position Overview :
The Host / Hostless is a support-level position that performs multiple functions including : running the door at the restaurant, showing guests to their table and working with OpenTable to maximize seating. In addition, our Host / Hostess team are expected to answer guests questions regarding : menus, general information and quoting waiting times. Our Host / Hostess team should have experience with remaining calm under pressure while working in a fast past restaurant environment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Welcoming patrons and new guests into the restaurant / bar with a friend smile and calm demeanor.
- Answer any guest’s questions that are related to reservations, food & beverage and any general information.
- Being able to recognize any guest issues before they escalate and alerting a manager if there are any concerns.
- Phone System : answering the phones, calling to confirm reservations and responding to voicemails all in a timely manner.
- Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to obtain California Responsible Beverage Service certification within 30 days of hire.
- Have a positive attitude with guests and co-workers.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests
- Very strong organizational skills. Ability to always maintain professionalism even under high volume, stressful times, and situations
- Ability to manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to give high priority to customer satisfaction. Ability to take initiative, act promptly and be proactive
- Maintain the dining room and service stations at the highest standard of cleanliness and readiness.
- Support ALL team members during peak service with proactive communication and teamwork.
- Dressed in professional attire and punctual for your shift.
