Locum Tenens Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Ellensburg, WA. This position is designed to provide coverage for elective and outpatient endoscopy procedures in an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Immediate start

Inpatient

13-16

Elective and outpatient endoscopies

8-hour shift starting at 7 : 30 AM

Up to 15 cases scheduled per day

None; all cases are IV conscious sedation

One room with two RNs (one for sedation, one for circulating)

Communicating biopsy results to patients, coordinating referrals, follow-ups, and additional imaging

Qualifications :

Required

Required

Licensed in Washington or IMLC

ACLS required, BLS not required

Approximately 45-60 days

Required or successful test-out
