Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

About the Position
As a Logistics Support Specialist, you will help the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) develop and implement new logistics-based programs, procedures, and training to improve efficiency and resource accountability. You'll be part of a team to work with department staff to integrate assets, supplies, and activities into new resource management systems and develop the infrastructure and training to support these improvements. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized specialist
who is excited about working with and encouraging others to adopt changes that will help the department serve the growing community.

Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hireWithin one month of hire, all employees are required to provide evidence of immunity or receive immunizations for vaccine-preventable illnesses for any position within the Maricopa County Department of Public Health; required immunizations include MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Tdap (whooping cough and diphtheria), Varicella (chickenpox), and annual Influenza; some positions require a Hepatitis B vaccine and / or a Tuberculosis testWork primarily occurs in an office setting, with the possibility to travel to other department facilities in the county. Opportunities to telework part-time are task-dependent. Must be able to participate in emergency response training as scheduled and be available to respond as directed in the event of a public health emergencySelection Procedure
