As a Senior Project Manager- Transportation, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Manage and lead Horrocks design teams to deliver transportation projects
- Develop and track scope, budget, and schedules for transportation projects to successfully deliver projects
- Solicit and manage subconsultant engineering services
- Interface with public and private sector clients including state and municipal agencies
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders
- Coordinate with office management and other project managers to share resources
- Manage Quality Control / Quality Assurance activities per Horrocks’ Quality Program
Cultivate client relationships and pursue business development opportunities
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies :
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineering license in AZ10+ years of Project Management ExperiencePreferred 5-10 years of DOT experienceWillingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other officesPossess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgetsSolid written and oral communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with MS Office applicationExperience with project accounting practices and systemsKnowledge and experience with Open Roads Designer, InRoads and / or Geopak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineeringExperience in managing technical staff and project teamsAbility to manage several projects concurrently
