Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Role :

As an

Accounts Receivable Specialist , you'll play a key role in maintaining efficient financial operations and supporting the company's continued growth. You'll work closely with an experienced team, manage critical billing and cash application processes, and contribute directly to the organization's financial success.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist :

Manage and maintain sales orders for invoicing, collections, revenue recognition, and fulfillment.

The AR Specialist will handle bank transactions related to cash collections, including preparing daily deposits and posting cash receipts.

Research and resolve discrepancies in customer payment plans, delivery schedules, and coordinate with the collections department as needed.

The AR Specialist will manage payment portals and electronic invoicing systems.

The AR Specialist will perform additional accounting tasks to support the finance team.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist :

Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally in a high-volume or full-cycle environment.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
