The Indiana University Health (IU Health) Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a Board-Certified Gynecologic Oncologist at Associate or Full Professor level for a leadership position as Division Chief of Gynecologic Oncology. This full-time faculty role offers the opportunity to lead a division of 5 gynecologic oncologists and 3 advanced practice providers, with plans for expansion.

IU Health is the premier academic medical center and primary referral hospital for Indiana. The department supports teaching at the largest medical school in the state, a residency program with 10 residents annually, and three fellowship programs, including a pending Gynecologic Oncology fellowship.

The role is primarily based at IU University Hospital and the Simon Cancer Center, Indiana's only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Additional coverage includes IU North, Eskenazi Hospital, and planned expansion to IU Arnett in Lafayette. Faculty also provide obstetric emergency coverage at Riley Hospital for Children.

Responsibilities include leading the division in surgical procedures (open, robotic, laparoscopic), chemotherapy, oncology consultations, clinical trials, and obstetric surgical support. The approach emphasizes multidisciplinary care involving radiation oncology, pathology, genomics, social work, and supportive services.

The candidate will contribute to academic excellence through teaching and may participate in leadership roles within the cancer center, clinical trials, surgical education, quality initiatives, and committees. The position requires teamwork and aligns with IU's academic mission of education, leadership, and research.

Qualifications include Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology, with preference for Associate or Full Professor rank, leadership experience, extensive management of gynecologic cancers, and eligibility for Indiana medical licensure. Experience with clinical trials and education is preferred. The role does not support visa sponsorship.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and rank. The position is jointly employed by IU Health Physicians and IU School of Medicine, with comprehensive benefits.
