Director of Nursing (DON) – Full-Time  Boston, MA 02128

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care organization as a Director of Nursing (DON) . This role is ideal for a seasoned nursing leader with  years of clinical experience , proven leadership skills, and a strong commitment to resident-centered care. Candidates must have a track record of stability and team-oriented leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the nursing department, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with policies and regulations

Oversee clinical operations, staffing, scheduling, and team development

Mentor and coach nursing staff, conducting performance evaluations and promoting professional growth

Ensure accurate documentation, care plans, and regulatory compliance

Foster a positive, collaborative culture across the nursing team

Serve as a primary liaison for families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications :

Current RN license in good standing

Minimum 1 year experience as a DON in long-term care or a similar setting

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

Strong commitment to team collaboration and stability

Professional demeanor with a focus on integrity, accountability, and resident care
