S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom. Granite Hills Hospital Patient Advocate / Court Liaison Position Summary : Granite Hills Hospital is seeking a Patient Advocate / Court Liaison to ensure resolution of concerns presented by patients and / or their families.
The Patient Advocate / Court Liaison will also serve as primary liaison for the District Attorney’s office and Probate Courts of Harris County for all patients for whom applications for court ordered mental health services are pending, or in process.
Patient Advocate / Court Liaison Key Responsibilities Include : Facilitate resolution of complaints, grievance, and / or requests by patients and visitors in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Identify systems related problems, via patient / visitor data and work collaboratively with staff to resolve. File applications for court ordered mental health services in a timely fashion.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience : 1-3 years of relevant experience in a health care environment; experience in a Psychiatric setting preferred.
