Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our San Diego, CA location who will support multiple attorneys in the areas of Business Restructuring and Commercial Litigation. We are willing to train the right person for the position who meets the requirements listed below.
Responsibilities
- Review, comprehend and implement Federal and Local Rules of Court
- Organize and maintain electronic documents and files in a timely manner
- Prepare template shell documents, revise and finalize with particular attention to formatting and proofreading of documents
- Online e-filing of Court and other documents
- Expense reimbursement processing
- Travel arrangements and other administrative support, providing backup as needed
- Open new files, request conflict of interest checks and manage client engagement
- Track deadlines, maintain and monitor calendaring system for attorneys

Determined work ethic and commitmentIntermediate to advanced-level use of Microsoft Office Suite software and .pdf editing software; advanced level use of Microsoft Word Including Table of Contents and AuthoritiesIntermediate to advanced-level use of Microsoft Office Suite software and .pdf editing softwareExcellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detailPossess strong organizational and time management skillsProven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker Ability to excel in a fast-paced environmentSelf-directed, high energy, and have advanced computer skills.Solid work history providing administrative support, and effectively reporting to multiple attorneys / supervisorsAbility to communicate effectivelyKnowledge of the bankruptcy process preferredUnderstanding of federal, state and local rules of civil procedure preferredExperience with Bestcase & QuickBooks preferredExperience drafting pleadings; Drafting & filing proof of claims preferredExposure to Litigation law in California for 3 years or more preferredExperience with E-filing (federal and state) preferredExperience using document management systems (iManage, a plus)Salary
