Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles, as well as familiarity with relevant software applications.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

Conduct credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of clients and vendors.

Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Utilize accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports.

Assist with medical billing processes, including understanding ICD-10 codes.

Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, including debits and credits.

Communicate effectively with clients and vendors, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts.

Skills

Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and tools for efficient financial management.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and account analysis.

Experience in public accounting is a plus.

Knowledge of medical billing practices and familiarity with ICD-10 coding.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for accurate record keeping.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on phone etiquette.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
