Construction Estimator
Job Description : One of our clients is searching for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our Prefabricated Wall Panel Division who has a can-do attitude, excellent organizational, communication, and management skills, and that is always willing to contribute to the growth of the company.
Our client is a full-service finish contractor, we're capable of providing a wide range of superlative services to our clients.
The successful candidate will handle both estimating and project managing of their own projects and has prior experience within construction estimating and project management.
Responsibilities include :
Gathering, analyzing and estimating prefabricated panel projects
Preparing / processing submittals and maintaining submittal logs
Maintain comprehensive schedule tracking of their ongoing projects
Ordering & monitoring of materials
Managing material suppliers
Tracking & reconciling of material invoices and purchase orders
Reviewing & tracking invitations to bid and proposals that include prefab panels
Help prepare, submit, track, and process change orders
Coordinate LEED documentation forms
Aid in building code compliance requirements
Qualifications :
BA / BS in Construction Management or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of various prefabricated acoustical panel vendors used on projects
Experience & knowledge of the AEC industry
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internal and external
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Adobe, & Bluebeam
Ability to be a team player that is self-motivated and can work independently
Positive attitude and professional demeanor with a strong work ethic
Ability to learn and adapt to different situations
Ability to read blue prints and understand vendor quotes and qualifications
Ability to establish and maintain client relationships
Valid drivers license required
