Job descriptionWork in a diagnostic imaging department with a focus on mammography and DEXA scans Level 4 trauma setting Day shift schedule Blue scrubs preferred Patient population includes breast imaging and bone density screenings Role involves operating and maintaining mammography equipment, including positioning and compressing patients’ breasts to obtain high-quality images Evaluate mammogram images for quality and assist with retakes as needed Educate patients about procedures and promote breast health awareness Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and training Pre-employment drug test and background check required Work in a collaborative and supportive environment with a diverse healthcare team Holiday coverage may be required according to facility schedule ARRT registration is required Mammography license or certification required; license required if applicable Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred Minimum of one year of mammography experience preferred Current BLS / BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required Proficiency with EMR and computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as part of a small team Must be reliable, punctual, and adaptable to schedule changes High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
