About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in PICU or similar unit

License : Must have current nursing license in hand prior to start date

Certifications : BLS, PALS

Must-Have : Experience in telemetry, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Description :

This position involves working in a cardiac intensive care unit.

The unit specializes in caring for complex heart patients, including those with ventricular assist devices and heart transplants.

The daily patient census is approximately 19, and the unit has 23 beds.

Nurses will provide care to neonate, adolescent, and pediatric patients.

The role requires the ability to float to a cardiac stepdown unit as needed.

Candidate must be willing to work every other weekend.

Previous charge experience is preferred.

Candidates with experience in PICU will be considered and trained on cardiac ICU procedures.

Floating is required, and candidates will float within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Candidates must complete modules prior to starting the position.

Travel experience is an asset.

Interdisciplinary support is available for patient care, including physical therapy and respiratory services.

The position entails a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients.
