Scope of Responsibility :
This position will be a liaison between the customers and Lampire responsible for customer interactions from the sales process though delivery and after the sale support. To provide excellent and consistent customer service while treating the customer in a courteous and thoughtful manner all the time regardless of the situation.

Position Requirements :
Qualifications are based upon education, resume and / or work experience.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, preferred but not required.
Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required.
Windows-based computer skills Microsoft office suite – emphasis on excel, data analysis
Clear understating and utilization of company Customer Research Management tool (such as Sage ACT).
Clear understanding and utilization of company ERP program (such as Traverse).
Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Understanding and working knowledge of the sales and customer service cycle.
Knowledge of the metric system.
Ability to give directions to different departments within the company and consolidate the information to convey to the customer.
Ability to train others both inter and intradepartmental.
Ability to perform all work, and interact with others, in a safe and responsible manner.
Essential Functions :
Serve as the first contact with customers, vendors and partners when they first call.
Take in orders and enter them into the system completely and correctly including the preferred delivery method.
Review completed orders for peers.
Create quotes and proformas for call in and simple catalog item opportunities.
Send order confirmation; provide customers with realistic and accurate delivery times.
Communicate with the customer to let them know when there are delays and Back Order situations, update on projected delivery dates.
Print out work order sheets and make sure that the information is sent to the Production team to ensure we are meeting delivery deadlines.
Enter in and manage open orders standing PO's.
Serve as the voice to the customer to the company to express not only questions and concerns, but also accolades when Lampire goes above and beyond for them.
Assist QA in regard to Customer Complaints.
Other duties as assigned.
Education :
Minimum of a High School Diploma
Degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Working Conditions :
Conditions inside the office is generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment when traveling to other facilities.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
