As a pivotal IT team member, the ServiceNow Senior Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and securing our digital identity landscape.

With a focus on Okta and Microsoft Active Directory (AD), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our identity and access management (IAM) solutions.

Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring secure, efficient, and uninterrupted access to our IT resources for employees and clients.

Responsibilities :

Identity and Access Management (IAM) : Deep understanding and experience with identity providers (IDPs), preferably Okta and Azure Active Directory (AD).

Expertise in configuring user authentication, authorization, and access control.

Lead migration and integration projects related to identity management internal and client facing.

Azure administration : Extensive experience managing and administering Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security services.

SMTP gateway : Strong knowledge and experience with secure email gateways, preferably Mimecast. Ability to configure and manage email security policies, spam filtering, and email encryption.

Windows Active Directory : Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Active Directory environments. Expertise in user and group management, security policies, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with IT and security teams to identify and mitigate risks related to digital identities.

Provide advanced technical support and guidance in resolving complex identity-related issues.

Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automating IT tasks.

M365 administration : Experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Cloud or SaaS backup : Knowledge and experience with cloud-based or SaaS backup solutions, preferably Rubrik. Ability to design and implement backup and recovery strategies for IT infrastructure.

M&A experience with IT infrastructure : Experience integrating IT infrastructure during mergers and acquisitions. Understanding of due diligence processes, data migration, and post-merger consolidation.

Admin-level experience in infrastructure and network (DNS, DHCP, NTP, LB, etc.)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

Minimum of 4 years recent, hands-on experience in a production IT environment as a systems administrator or DevOps engineer

AWS, Azure, and other cloud certifications are preferred. MCP, MCSE, or other certifications are a plus.

M365 administration : Experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Cloud or SaaS backup : Knowledge and experience with cloud-based or SaaS backup solutions, preferably Rubrik. Ability to design and implement backup and recovery strategies for IT infrastructure.

M&A experience with IT infrastructure : Experience integrating IT infrastructure during mergers and acquisitions. Understanding of due diligence processes, data migration, and post-merger consolidation.

Experience with implementing and maintaining two-factor authentication, VPN technology, internet proxy server, data loss prevention systems, authentication server software, internet directory services, or network monitoring preferred.

Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automating IT tasks.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Occasional travel up to 10% to : regional offices, client and / or vendor sites. Subject to after-hours work to meet deadlines.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. Compensation Range for this position : $132,695 - $192,341.

Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
