Job Description
We are looking for a financial analyst to manage and oversee the financial aspects of child welfare programs. This position will be part-time contract and remote.
What You'll Do
What You'll Need
Required : Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or other business-related field. Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within child welfare or human services consulting, program evaluation, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budget management, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and persuasively. Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple financial projects and deadlines simultaneously. Commitment to improving child welfare services and making a positive impact on vulnerable children and families. Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing environments and client financial needs. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
Preferred : Proven track record of managing financial projects and delivering results in a consulting environment.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards. Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
