F-35 Software And Integration Lab Sustainment Program Manager

With a worldwide fleet of 1,200 aircraft, supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter's Electronic Warfare (EW) suite is no small task. Maintaining the premier multirole, 5th Generation combat aircraft requires continuous innovation to keep the fleet mission ready across the globe. Are you up to the challenge? The F-35 EW Sustainment team is seeking a customer and technology focused program manager to drive two program areas : Software Sustainment and support of the System Integration Labs (SILs) that are utilized by the development and sustainment teams. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and program management skills with the ability to navigate classified software and integration lab environments and collaborate across sustainment and development program boundaries. This role reports to the Operational Capabilities IPT Lead within F-35 Solutions Sustainment in the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area. This role is initially full-time onsite at our Manchester, NH facility to support current program / business requirements. Long term, the role will be a mix of hybrid flexibility with a strong onsite presence in Manchester to interface with F-35 Leadership and our teams operating in our labs. The Software / SIL Program Manager will :

  • Own / manage the Software Sustainment contract, responsible to deliver software updates for fielded configurations
  • Own / manage the SIL support contract, responsible to provide support to the F-35 EW integration labs, providing availability of test equipment and minimizing downtime for development and sustainment programs
  • Support Operational Capability IPT initiatives
  • Interact with senior-leadership and customers concerning contracts and strategies
  • Be a key member of the F-35 Sustainment leadership team

Required Education, Experience, & Skills :

  • Experience with business development, capture management, or program management in the defense industry
  • Experience integrating scope, schedule, budget for successful execution of program objectives
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams (i.e., Engineering, Suppliers, Operations, etc.) in the execution of complex technical tasks, including in a classified environment
  • Ability to actively manage customer and stakeholder relationships to achieve positive outcomes for all parties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience with building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Current DoD Secret security clearance and ability to attain higher clearances
  • Active SECRET clearance; ability to obtain a higher clearance
  • Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • DoD Sustainment / Product Support program experience
  • Technical acumen and experience with EW, integration labs, RF Stimulators, software / firmware, etc.
  • Pay Information :

    Full-Time Salary Range : $146670 - $249330

    Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
