Project Management Specialist 4

Job Summary :

Dexian is seeking a Project Management Specialist 4 for an opportunity with a client located in Huntington Beach.

Must haves :

• Minimum 8 years as an integrated planning and scheduling
• Scheduling using OPP and Microsoft Project
• Aerospace background required

Responsibilities :

• Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and / or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
• Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
• Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
• Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
• Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
• Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
• Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

Requirements :

• 8+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
• 8+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
• 8+ years of experience working with cross functional teams
• 8+ years of experience in a position that requires using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
• 8+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Project
• 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of experience using Open Plan Professional
• 8+ years of experience demonstrating leadership for driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk
• 8+ years of experience facilitating meetings & presenting to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree or higher
