Job descriptionCurrent state license(s), including RDMS, medical imaging permit, and BLS certification Credentialed as RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) Minimum of 2 years as an Imaging Tech
Summary :
Reporting to the Director of Cardiac Imaging, the Cardiac Sonographer is a critical member of the care team. This role is responsible for preparing patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures and performing full trans-thoracic echocardiography procedures.
Schedule
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Location
Will float between two locations in Las Vegas, NV
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Perform echocardiographic exams using 2-D imaging, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler
- Prepare preliminary reports for physician review
- Utilize ultrasound enhancing agents and perform saline contrast studies as needed
- Explain procedures clearly to members and address concerns
- Accurately enter test data and patient information into clinical systems
