We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner PNP to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities :
- Provide culturally appropriate preventive care, identifying concerns early and managing them to achieve best long-term outcomes for the patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses, including performing point-of-care tests and communicating results.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients, with clear documentation.
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities; follow up on results.
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in primary care pediatrics
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a small team
- Willingness to learn EHR
