About The Position

🚨 Urgent Hiring : OB-GYN Hospitalist (MD / DO) – Full-Time, Permanent

📍 Location : Salinas, CA 93901

A leading healthcare organization in the beautiful Central Coast city of Salinas, California, is urgently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to provide 24-hour in-house coverage at a nationally recognized maternity care hospital.

🩺 Job Responsibilities :

Provide 24-hour in-house OB-GYN hospitalist coverage

Manage labor and delivery for community low-volume OBs

Handle obstetrical triage and emergency situations

Perform patient evaluations and management

Assist in obstetrical surgeries

Participate in fetal monitoring and coordinate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists

Support Level III NICU operated in partnership with a top children’s hospital

Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and MFM teams

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based obstetrical care

📅 Schedule & Position Details :

Full-time, permanent role

Residency within immediate local area required (relocation may be necessary)

Not accepting locum tenens or visa candidates

Experienced providers preferred (new grads not explicitly mentioned)

💰 Compensation & Benefits :

Base Salary : $372,300 annually ($170 / hour)

CME Allowance : $4,500

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) in OB-GYN

Active California medical license at application time (or application in process)

DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) – Required, no exemptions

OB Hospitalist work experience preferred

Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred

Residency status (local or willing to relocate)
