Hospital has signed 40 providers in the past 3 years and had tremendous recruitment success. Cardiology, ENT, Ortho, Podiatry, Urology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Ob / Gyn, Peds, and a robust panel of primary care providers. 501(c)3 Not-for Profit Group employs more than 700 people, all dedicated to providing quality health care services. Includes a community hospital and 13 primary and specialty clinics. As Union Countys largest private employer, more than 750 people comprise the Group team all dedicated to providing quality health care services to the region. Health Group serves a base population of about 25,000 residents, while also providing care for many in the Eastern With an employed provider staff of 80, we continue to recruit world-class professionals. Four of our 13 clinics are well-established, certified Primary Care Medical Homes In 2020 the Group opened an Urgent Care facility right outside of the county seat of La Grande, where the remainder of its clinics are located. Located in Northeast Oregon, La Grande is nestled within the mountain ranges that dominate our landscape Blue Mountains to the west and Eagle Caps to the southeast. These mountains surround the Grande Ronde Valley, the second largest enclosed valley in the world and home to the Group since 1907. Needless to say, we enjoy a diverse and rich outdoor lifestyle. With a four-season climate, Union County is home to many outdoor activities and sports year round. Summer and spring offer opportunities for all styles of fishing; as well as kayaking and swimming, camping, bird watching, hiking, four-wheeling and trail-riding on mountain bike or horseback. The Mount Emily Recreation Area (MERA) is just two miles from La Grande, providing nearly 3,700 acres of year-round access to the Blue Mountains. In winter, MERA is popular spot for back-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Union County is home to Eastern Oregon University, founded in 1929, and also home to the OHSU School of Nursing on-campus program.

The Credit is applied to Oregon taxes before FICA tax and the estimate is based on tax brackets of 9% for State, 33% for Federal, 1.45% for Medicare and 6.2% for FICA.
