A company is looking for a Remote Scheduler / Clinical Assistant - Ophthalmology.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule patient office visits, procedures, and operating room cases
Obtain and document insurance pre-authorizations and communicate necessary information to patients and clinical teams
Provide patient education on surgical details and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
3 years of experience in sales preferred
3 years of experience in surgical counseling preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
One of the following licenses : Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA), Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT), Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technician (COMT), Certified Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
