About the Role
HerMD is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (CMA) to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our women’s healthcare practice running efficiently in Franklin, Tennessee!
As a physician-founded practice, we understand the challenges medical providers experience daily. HerMD is resurrecting the patient-provider relationship, allowing our Medical Assistants to spend quality time with each patient and a sustainable work-life balance.

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities
The CMA’s work schedule is generally 8AM - 4 : 30PM Monday - Friday, with an 11AM - 7PM shift every other Tuesday.
Our Medical Assistant (CMA) will work directly with healthcare practice staff with administrative and clinical duties.
Assist physicians and the medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties
Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams
Record patient medical history and maintain patient records
Explain common medical procedures to patients
Assist in basic examinations
Clean and sterilize medical equipment
Assist with in office procedures
Assist the office manager in maintaining medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed.
Learn the electronic medical records and chart procedures in accordance with the practice standards.

Requirements
Medical Assistant Requirements
CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required
BLS certification required
Strong customer service skills
High level of professionalism
Ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 2 years of gynecology experience is required
