Our client in Somerset, PA is looking for a contract to hire Administrative Assistant for a fully onsite opportunity. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged. Hours are 9am - 3pm. Pay depending on experience : $18-20.
Job Requirements
- Interfacing with all customers to service their building department related needs
- Issuing and / or tracking permits through the permitting process, beginning with application acceptance, plan review, inspections and permit closure.
- Establishing and maintaining systems to ensure that all files, letters, reference manuals, field inspection reports, permit files, blueprints, drawings, and other data or material is maintained in an organized fashion
- Working with plans examiners and inspectors throughout the company to develop and ensure consistent processes.
- Assisting with public record requests and record conversion.
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy work environment.
- Familiarity with using office equipment such as printers, scanners, and phones.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and care.
