About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN physician to provide full-time locum tenens coverage at a well-established hospital-based practice in coastal Maine. This opportunity offers a great schedule, professional environment, and the potential for locums-to-permanent transition.

Assignment Details :

Duration : June 2026 – December 2026 (minimum commitment required)

Schedule : Full-time coverage

Pay rate : $250 / hour

Setting : Hospital-based OB / GYN practice providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care

Support : Collaborative team including physicians, midwives, and nursing staff

Responsibilities :

Provide complete obstetric and gynecologic care

Manage prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care

Perform gynecologic surgeries and in-office procedures

Participate in call rotation as assigned

Support a patient-centered approach with compassion and respect

Job Requirements

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology – Required

Active Maine medical license or active IMLC LOQ – Required

Prior locums or hospital-based experience preferred
