Overview

The mission of Helio Health is to promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other behavioral health issues. The Cook will work Full-Time providing nutritious meals to residents in our Residential Programs throughout the Syracuse area. The schedule will be Mon-Fri., 7 : 30am - 4pm.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On Incentive of up to $1,500 !

Pay Rate : $16.50 - $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Prepares and serves planned meals for clients living in the Community Residence.

• Takes direction from Team Leader / Residence Manager and keeps him / her informed regarding content of workload.
• Communicates with kitchen staff regarding Quality Assurance.
• Performs general kitchen and stock work as well as monitors equipment and supplies.
• Maintains a sanitary & safe workstation and participating in Quality Assurance activities such as :

Provide services according to agency policies and procedures and governmental regulations.
