The Medical Assistant at CRO Services is a specifically trained individual who demonstrates expertise in dealing with patients during all aspects of care. Performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of the Physician or Physician's designee.
Performs the following duties personally and coordinates with team members to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
MENTAL DEMANDS
Language Skills Experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills Experience
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret line graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic to intermediate knowledge of : Microsoft Office Suite : particularly Outlook Communication Management software, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of patient billing systems and related funding mechanisms. Experience with Internet usage,PC and / or MAC and Windows. Ability to use clinical administration systems.
