Job Title : Data Science Business Analyst

Location : Branchburg, NJ 08876 (hybrid)

Duration : Until 03 / 31 / 2027

Role Summary

A hybrid role combining data science, business process management, and project management.
Responsible for extracting data insights to optimize business processes and lead data-driven projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Modeling

Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets for analysis.

Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics.

Create data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

2. Business Process Optimization

Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.

Design and implement process improvements, workflow optimization, and automation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data-driven solutions.

3. Project Management

Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Manage project execution, track progress, and mitigate potential risks.

Lead project teams through the entire data analysis lifecycle

Required Skills & Qualifications

A. Technical Skills

Proficiency in Confluence.

Expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data mining.

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

B. Business Acumen

Understanding of business operations, KPIs, and strategic goals.

Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies.

C. General Skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proven project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience

Education

Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field is required.

Experience

Proven experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization.

Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of business process management methodologies.

Technical Skills

High level of proficiency with Confluence.

Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and data mining techniques

Familiarity with data visualization tools and platforms

Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations

Expertise in lean six sigma and agile ways of working

Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to diverse stakeholders

Knowledge of business process management methodologies
