Job description : Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Report to work in proper uniform, abiding by the uniform guidelines
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner
- Keep track of walk-in and reservation guests through Open Table
- Update guest notes, profiles and preferences
- Maintain and manage wait-list
- Greet and seat guests
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
- Inspect menus for cleanliness and crispness and change out when necessary
- Answer phone with knowledge of the operations of the restaurant and / or direct guests for further assistance
- Cleaning, organizing and stocking menus at host area
- Answer phone within three rings
- Other duties as directed
Qualifications :
Prior experience in customer serviceExcellent phone skills and communication skillsMust be a team playerHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredPhysical Demands : This position is very active and requires standing for long periods of time. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 20 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work : This position regularly requires long hours and a schedule that fluctuates based on business needs.
