Global Collaboration : Work closely with teams in North America and our Headquarters in the Netherlands.

Innovative Projects : Lead the design and construction of state-of-the-art Material Handling Equipment for greenfield and brownfield projects.

Expertise Recognition : Become a subject matter expert and support business development with your knowledge and skills.

YourKey Responsibilities :

Business Development Support : Develop realistic and efficient Material Handling Solutions for various business cases, ensuring feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Project Design : Manage the design of the Material Handling systems for new and existing sites, including all equipment like conveyors, automated AS / RS systems, AMRs, robotic systems.

Design optimization : Maintain focus during the design on the total cost of ownership, easy access for maintenance and operations, ease of use of the equipment and the durability and quality of the installations.

Supplier Coordination : Prepare tender packages and integrate designs from multiple suppliers into the overall project.

Quality Assurance : Ensure project quality and compliance throughout the entire project cycle.

Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with operations to enhance Material Handling Equipment.

Standard Development : Work with the team to refine engineering standards.

Market Research : Identify the best technical solutions for Cold Store environments.

Innovation : Continuously research and implement innovative Material Handling solutions.

Who we are looking for :

We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive incollaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has :

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience : 5-10 years working with complex material handling systems.

Industry Knowledge : Experience with system integrators, material handling suppliers, or consulting.

Travel : Willingness to travel regularly.

Location : Based in the Chicago metropolitan area and able to work from our Chicago office.
