Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Location : Charleston, SC 29401 Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day or Night 3x12-Hour | Weekend Coverage : Every Other Weekend Requirements : Experience : Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU (PICU) nursing experience required. Certifications : BLS, PALS (American Heart Association certification only). Licensure : Valid South Carolina RN License or Multi-State / Compact State License required. Skills : Proficient in pediatric emergency medications (e.g., anti-seizure meds, IV vasopressors, and pediatric dosage calculations). Experience with ventilator management, chest tubes, and central line / PICC line care. Expertise in interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs) and managing critical care patients in a pediatric setting. Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred. Other : Ability to float within the hospital as needed; every other weekend required; flexible with scheduling requests (with manager approval).
