We are seeking a litigation attorney on behalf of a well-established boutique law firm in northern New Jersey. The firm is led by a friendly, down-to-earth managing partner who values mentorship, professional respect, and balanced growth.

This position is ideal for a motivated litigator who enjoys substantive courtroom work, autonomy, and direct partner collaboration—without the pressure of generating new business.

What you’ll do

Manage a mix of plaintiff personal injury and general commercial litigation matters
Handle all stages of litigation, including legal research, discovery, depositions, pleadings, briefs, motion practice, and trial preparation and argument
Participate in case strategy discussions and maintain client contact from day one

What you bring

NJ Bar admission required; NY admission a plus but not required

Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

Prior judicial clerkship experience a plus

Proven ability to take ownership of cases and move them forward

Compensation and benefits

Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience

Substantial year-end bonus tied to clear, attainable revenue targets — no origination required

Total compensation potential from approximately $150,000 to $400,000+ based on performance
