This is an excellent opportunity for a tech who enjoys a close-knit, rural hospital environment with a highly collaborative care team. Position Highlights Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : Day shift Schedule : 3x12s or 4x10s (40 hours guaranteed) Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital Pay : Up to $50 / hr depending on experience Phlebotomy : Not required Job Responsibilities Perform routine and complex lab tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, microbiology, and immunology Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment Process and analyze specimens with accuracy and efficiency to support patient diagnosis Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and facility standards Work closely with nursing and provider teams to support fast turnaround times and quality care Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records Education & Certification Requirements Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible) preferred Active MLT licensure (if applicable by state) Prior hospital-based laboratory experience preferred Why Travelers Love This Area Located in North Texas, Nocona offers a charming small-town feel with easy access to outdoor recreation and authentic Texas culture.
