Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a travel assignment at a reputable Critical Access Hospital near Nocona, Texas . This is an excellent opportunity for a tech who enjoys a close-knit, rural hospital environment with a highly collaborative care team.

\n\n Position Highlights \n\n \n\t

Contract Length : 13 weeks

\n\t\n\t

Shift : Day shift

\n\t\n\t

Schedule : 3x12s or 4x10s (40 hours guaranteed)

\n\t\n\t

Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital

\n\t\n\t

Pay : Up to $50 / hr depending on experience

\n\t\n\t

Phlebotomy : Not required

\n\t\n

\n\n Job Responsibilities \n\n \n\t

Perform routine and complex lab tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, microbiology, and immunology

\n\t\n\t

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment

\n\t\n\t

Process and analyze specimens with accuracy and efficiency to support patient diagnosis

\n\t\n\t

Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and facility standards

\n\t\n\t

Work closely with nursing and provider teams to support fast turnaround times and quality care

\n\t\n\t

Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records Education & Certification Requirements

\n\t\n\t

Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent required

\n\t\n\t

ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible) preferred

\n\t\n\t

Active MLT licensure (if applicable by state)

\n\t\n\t

Prior hospital-based laboratory experience preferred

\n\t\n
