Division Of Family Services Leadership
Exempt; full-time; 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday; 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.; full benefits This professional leadership position within the Division of Family Services (DFS) under the direction of the Division Director is responsible for oversight of division operations, including fiscal management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. This position requires advanced analytical skills to implement initiatives that enhance efficiency, strengthen communication, and support the Division's mission. This position oversees the Frederick County Local Management Board (LMB). Through the LMB and community partners, DFS is responsible for building, coordinating, and managing a collaborative, outcome-based system of services and resources for children, youth, and families in Frederick County using an equity lens to address disparities. Supervision is given to professional and fiscal staff. Supervision is received from the Division Director of Family Services. NOTE : The upper pay range reflects possible wage rates for internal County transfers and promotions, which are calculated per County policy. For external hires, offers are made at the base wage rate, with limited exception.

Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years related human services work experience that must include the following (experience items may be concurrent) :Minimum 5 years budget preparation and fiscal work experienceMinimum 3 years work experience in the management or administration of grant programsMinimum 3 years human services program work experience in providing services for children, youth and families or a closely-related programMinimum 2 years supervisory work experienceIntermediate skill in the use of Microsoft 365KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
