American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of interventional cath lab experience and active RCIS or ARRT (CI) certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care cardiac cath lab with one cath and one IR suite, as well as admit and recovery areasAverage 5-6 diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases per day, no TAVR or open heart proceduresSchedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week, 0700-1730, with call as neededOn-call coverage required, including weeknights from 1730-0700 and one weekend per month, with a 30-minute response timeMust be able to float to pre and post care for cath lab, GI, and IR patientsUses Epic EMR and GE MacLab equipmentResponsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring for cardiac cath lab and IR procedures, as well as float coverage in pre / post areasSmall, flexible team with collaborative mentality; schedule may vary with staff changesOrientation includes 3 days on unit with preceptor and Epic EMR classesScrubs are providedMust be able to transition between cath lab and IR cases as neededHoliday coverage handled through call shiftsCandidates should not have been employed by any affiliated system in the past year if seeking considerationEpic EMR class is required during assignment; timing may not coincide with first week\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 2 years of recent interventional cath lab experienceCertified Cardiac Interventional Radiography via ARRT (CI) or RCIS via CCI requiredWashington State Radiologic Technologist license required—must provide own radiation badgeActive certifications must be held at time of consideration; pending certifications or licenses not acceptedCopy of driver's license required for considerationMust provide two references : one supervisor from the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years, with employment dates and rehire eligibilityExperience with Epic EMR and GE MacLab preferredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
