    Leahy Landscaping Inc. is an ever-growing, full-service landscaping company that provides professional services to Residential and Commercial properties spanning all of Eastern Mass, Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire. We are ever growing!

    We are seeking to hire an Assistant Landscape Estimator. This position involves monitoring project plans, schedules, and the submittal process.

    1 year of experience in Landscape or Green Industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person to join our team;

    the right person will be motivated, have a positive attitude, an interest in landscape / landscape construction, and ability to work independently and with others, and a strong desire to learn all about landscapings ins and outs.

    Requirements / Skills and Key Responsibilities will Include :

    Must have reliable transportation to and from work

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Familiarity with using estimating and takeoff softwares (a definite plus)

    A strong understanding of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)

    An interest or knowledge of plants (a plus)

    Understanding of landscape construction / estimating terminology (a plus)

    Strong attention to detail

    Work alongside estimating department to bid commercial and residential landscape projects

    Assist project managers and construction teams in a variety of roles associated with project estimating

    Reviewing the status of tasks and projects to ensure they are progressing according to schedule

    Organizing and developing the submittal / sample process

    Communicating with Project Managers to discuss project details and to obtain information regarding needs

    Coordinating with team members to monitor progress on projects and tasks, providing assistance when needed

    Coordinating and communicating with vendors to obtain quotes and ensure that they deliver materials or services as per contractual agreements

    Reviewing budgets and preparing cost estimates for new projects

    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Some Saturday availability during busy season with option for unlimited overtime

    Lynn, MA 01902 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

    Experience :

    landscape estimating : 1 year (Preferred)
