We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team in Kansas City. This role will focus on creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation within ServiceNow Knowledge Management, ensuring content is clear, accurate, and accessible both to technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, guides, and knowledgebase articles in ServiceNow Knowledge Management.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Ensure documentation adheres to company style guides and quality standards.
- Format, edit, and proofread content using Adobe Pro / Standard and Microsoft Office 365.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support documentation needs for processes, software, and IT systems.
- Continuously review and improve documentation for clarity, accessibility, and effectiveness.
Requirements
2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer.Proficiency with ServiceNow Knowledge Management or similar knowledge management tools.Strong skills in using Adobe Pro or Adobe Standard for document creation and editing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with our Kansas City, KS client.
