Payroll Specialist

We’re looking for a skilled Accounting & Payroll Specialist to join a well-established industrial services company in College Station, Texas. In this role, you’ll manage full-cycle payroll processing while supporting both accounts payable and receivable functions. It’s a hands-on position that offers exposure to a wide range of accounting activities across multiple departments and job sites.

Responsibilities :

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for multiple teams and locations.
• Review time entries, verify job and cost codes, and address any discrepancies.
• Maintain complete and compliant payroll records, including deductions and adjustments.
• Handle certified payroll reporting and assist with annual filings such as W-2s.
• Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare and send customer invoices while monitoring collections and aging reports.
• Contribute to month-end close processes and provide support during audits.
