Position : Commercial Sales Engineer
Status : Full-time

Responsibilities
- Primary focus on generating Carrier Great Lakes Commercial product sales including, but not limited to, Rooftop Units, Split Systems, Building Automation, DOAS Units, and Ductless & VRF Systems through pre-sale design / application support, quoting plan & spec take-offs, and design build projects.
- Maintain relationships with established accounts to maximize sales opportunities
- Develop new business through prospecting & account acquisition to maximize sales
- Maintaining and update project quote files.
- Follow-Up on projects post-bid to ensure high closure rate.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all CGL products available
- Provide post sale jobsite visits when needed to achieve customer satisfaction
- Establishing and maintaining good relations with customers by providing prompt and courteous service for all customers, both in person and over the phone.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years HVAC sales experience.Experience selling to Contractors, Consulting Engineers, and Owner community.Knowledge of HVAC design and application tools.Exceptional interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, and customer focus.Qualified candidates will have both a business and a technical background.Good computer skills and common software literacy.Efficient at Microsoft Office.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.Solid critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills.High level of personal accountability; sense of urgency and self-initiative is a must.Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction required from management.Qualifications
Experience working with HVAC contractors & engineers.Knowledge of a distribution environment.Benefits
